Learntec 2016 – Learning with IT

Last week we presented our bricks to the public at Learntec in Karlsruhe – the international trade fair for learning with IT. Learntec focused on internal training via e-learning and video. The associated congress dealt with the topic “Future learning: Digital culture of learning” and discussed the question whether innovative systems of learning encourage learning and improve individual learning experience.

We can clearly answer this question with a “yes”! It’s our aim to playfully introduce children and young adults to (electro-) technology – with the help of our plug system. Furthermore, we would like to support teachers to bring excitement and practical aspects to their classes by using new and cool methods of didactics. In addition to Brick’R’Knowledge’s Basic and Advanced Set we presented our 7-Color-Light set and our DIY set. The 7-Color-Light set includes 28 LED bricks in different colors out of which you can build a lamp, for example. It is even possible to build the bricks in 3D perspective. But the set is also suitable for children who can playfully learn colors with it and train their motor skills. The Do-It-Yourself set addresses hobbyists and tinkerers who like to become creative. It includes empty boards, capacitors, diodes and solder and many more bricks. There is no limit to fantasy!

At Learntec we had many interesting and informative conversations with visitors who were able to get a comprehensive picture of our idea. And our concept was very well received.

We had so much fun at Learntec and will be there again next year!
